About the role
- It is a one time 2-2.5 hours job.
- Participate in a project-based voice data collection role supporting speech recognition and voice technology for regional Indian languages and dialects.
- This opportunity is for native Tripura Khaash Bangla or Cholit Bangla speakers residing in or originating from the eligible areas of Tripura listed below.
Key responsibilities
- Record assigned phrases, scripts and spoken prompts accurately using a designated mobile recording application.
- Speak naturally in your native dialect, preserving regional pronunciation.
- Produce clear, distortion-free audio that meets the provided technical and background noise standards.
- Follow structured recording instructions and complete assignments within project timelines.
Requirements
- Native proficiency in Tripura Khaash Bangla or Cholit Bangla.
- Reside in or originate from one of these eligible areas:
- West Tripura: Jirania, Mohanpur.
- Khowai: Kalyanpur, Khowai, Mungiakami, Padmabil, Teliamura, Tulashikhar.
- Sepahijala: Bishalgarh, Boxanagar, Charilam, Jampuijala, Kathalia, Mohanbhog, Nalchar.
- Have a smartphone with a working microphone and reliable internet access.
- Demonstrate clear articulation and the ability to follow recording instructions.
- Open to candidates from all educational and professional backgrounds.
Qualifications
- Native speaker of Tripura Khaash Bangla or Cholit Bangla
- Reside in or originate from the specified eligible areas in West Tripura, Khowai or Sepahijala
- Own a smartphone with a working microphone and have reliable internet access
- Clear articulation and ability to follow structured recording instructions
- Education: Graduate (any discipline) or higher
