Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role Full-time Quality Assurance Engineer role focused on test strategy, manual validation, and automation across web, mobile, and REST API platforms. Work closely with engineering and product teams in an Agile environment to improve product quality and support reliable releases. Key responsibilities - Plan, write, and execute end-to-end test cases for web applications, native Android and iOS apps, and backend REST APIs. - Build, maintain, and expand automated test suites for regression and release testing. - Validate API data integrity, error codes, payload structures, and response performance. - Test cross-browser compatibility and responsive interfaces across screen sizes and operating systems. - Identify, document, reproduce, and track defects with detailed logs, reproduction steps, and severity. - Integrate automated smoke and regression tests into CI/CD pipelines. - Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and retrospectives. Requirements - 2–4 years of hands-on manual and automated software testing experience. - Working proficiency with automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Jest, Appium, or Detox. - Solid REST API testing experience using tools such as Postman, Bruno, or Swagger. - Proven responsive web, cross-browser, and Android and iOS application testing experience. - Familiarity with automated test integration into GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar build pipelines. - Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum workflows, structured test documentation, and clear technical communication. - Detail-oriented approach to software quality.
