Trainer - Cyber Security and Digital Forensics

About the role Deliver practical, investigation-focused cyber security and digital forensics training for police officers and cyber cell personnel in Naupada, Thane, Maharashtra. Lead classroom sessions, demonstrations and case-based learning aligned with the approved course syllabus. Engagement may be full-time or part-time based on course requirements, with training hours scheduled for the course. Key responsibilities - Teach cyber security fundamentals and cybercrime investigation concepts. - Cover digital and mobile forensics, digital evidence handling and chain of custody. - Explain relevant cyber laws, including the Information Technology (IT) Act, and investigation procedures. - Demonstrate forensic tools in classroom or lab settings. - Prepare learning materials and conduct practical exercises and assessments. - Maintain training records and follow confidentiality requirements. Requirements - 2–5 years of relevant experience in cyber security or digital forensics. - Industry or government-recognized certifications such as CEH, CHFI or CDFE are preferred. - Experience in cybercrime investigation, a Security Operations Centre (SOC), cyber cell or police training is an advantage. - Strong presentation skills and the ability to teach adult learners. - Professional handling of confidential information and willingness to sign and comply with a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
