About the Role:
A Cybersecurity company is looking for a detail-oriented GRC Intern to support our Governance, Risk, and Compliance team. This role offers exposure to information security frameworks, audits, risk assessments, and compliance documentation for clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in performing risk assessments and gap analyses against standards like ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, PCI-DSS, and GDPR
Support the team in preparing compliance documentation, policies, and procedures
Help conduct internal audits and track remediation of identified gaps
Assist with vendor risk assessments and third-party security reviews
Support the creation of security awareness materials and training content
Coordinate with clients to gather evidence for audits and certifications
Maintain and update risk registers and compliance trackers
Required Skills
Basic understanding of information security concepts and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good documentation and organizational abilities
Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace (especially Excel/Sheets for trackers)
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Interest in policy, compliance, and risk management
Eligibility
Pursuing/completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Law, or related field
Certifications like ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CompTIA Security+ (in progress) are a plus but not mandatory

- Strong communication skills and immediate to 60-day availability preferred
- Education: Graduation (Pursuing/Completed)
