Job description
About the Role:
An early-stage B2B SaaS/fintech company is looking for a content writer who can own how the brand is understood in the market — not just produce posts. Ideal candidates have done this inside a startup (financial, B2B SaaS, or AI) and know how to write for a technical buyer, ship without a large team, and build a category narrative from near zero.
What You'll Do
• Own content end-to-end: angle → research → draft → publish → distribution → learnings
• Turn dense financial material (10-Ks, 10-Qs, earnings calls, SEC filings) into content finance professionals actually read
• Run a consistent publishing rhythm across LinkedIn, blog, and newsletter
• Work directly with product and founders to translate the product into content people care about
• Run and report honestly on distribution experiments
• Use AI to move faster on research/drafting — without outsourcing judgment
• Pitch and build new content formats
Requirements:
• 1–4 years content/editorial experience, ideally at a startup writing for a professional (not consumer) audience
• Can write clearly for readers who know more than you do about the subject
• Simple, short, filler-free writing
• Comfortable with AI writing/research tools, basic SEO, analytics
• Strong stakeholder management — can pitch a thesis to a founder and defend it
• A portfolio of shipped work (blogs, newsletters, threads all count)
Bonus
• First/only content hire somewhere — built the function, didn't inherit it
• Experience writing about US equities, SEC filings, earnings, or financial products
• Self-taught or formal finance/accounting background
• Track record growing an audience
• Can make technical AI products accessible to non-technical buyers
• Basic chart/visual skills
Qualifications
- CFA Level 1, finance degree, or equivalent
- Education: Graduate
Salary & deadline
Annual salary range: ₹4–8 LPA (₹4,00,000 – ₹8,00,000 per year). Applications close on 30 October 2026.
