About the role - Full-time .NET Developer role focused on web APIs, MVC applications and Windows desktop applications using .NET Core, C# and SQL Server. Key responsibilities - Build Web APIs and MVC applications using ASP.NET Core. - Develop Windows desktop applications using WinForms or WPF. - Work with Entity Framework Core and LINQ queries for data access. - Work with SQL Server stored procedures, indexing and query tuning. - Integrate applications with external systems through RESTful APIs and WCF SOAP services. Requirements - 3–5 years of experience with .NET Core, C# and SQL Server. - Experience building Web APIs and MVC applications using ASP.NET Core. - Strong knowledge of Windows desktop application development using WinForms or WPF. - Familiarity with Entity Framework Core and writing LINQ queries. - Good understanding of SQL Server stored procedures, indexing and query tuning. - Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Jira and Confluence. - Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript or Razor Pages. - Understanding of RESTful APIs, WCF SOAP services and external system integration, such as Oracle. - Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit. - Good grasp of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles and common design patterns. - Optional: exposure to Angular, React, Azure or CI/CD tools.
